BOPA Film Nylon Film

BOPA film is a biaxially oriented polyamide (nylon) film valued for puncture resistance, toughness, oxygen and aroma barrier performance, and temperature resistance. It is commonly laminated with PE, CPP, PET, or foil for food, pharmaceutical, personal-care, industrial, and retort packaging. Standard and bio-based options are different product grades; biodegradability and food-contact suitability must be confirmed from the selected material specification and supporting documentation.

Features:
  • Strong oxygen barrier properties isolate odors.
  • High melting point; significant temperature resistance.
  • Strong puncture resistance; not easily damaged.
  • Certifications: ISO 9001/FDA/REACH

Product Details of descriptions

BOPA film is made from biaxially oriented polyamide. It is a type of nylon film. This film has an extremely low oxygen transmission rate and excellent sealing performance. It effectively blocks odors and prevents food from gas contamination. BOPA film also has strong toughness. It features excellent puncture resistance, high wear resistance, and a long service life.

Additionally, it exhibits good high-temperature resistance and corrosion resistance. It can be used in extremely high-temperature environments. It is suitable for microwave heating of food and high-temperature sterilization.

BOPA can improve laminate durability and barrier performance at a relatively low thickness, helping converters balance package performance and material use. BestY Pack supplies conventional and bio-based BOPA grades with options for thickness, width, treatment, barrier level, and roll format. Environmental claims depend on the exact resin source, product construction, certification, and end-of-life conditions.

We look forward to cooperating with you!

FAQ

BOPA film is a biaxially oriented polyamide film commonly used in flexible packaging. It is a type of nylon film. This film has properties such as odor barrier, extreme heat resistance, puncture resistance, high flexibility, and environmental friendliness. It has a relatively low cost in composite materials. Typical applications include high-temperature sterilization, microwave heating, various flexible packaging materials, and industrial liner materials.

BOPA film absorbs moisture easily. This can lead to deformation, lower ink adhesion, and other quality problems. Please store the film in a dry, light-protected environment and use it all at once after opening.

  • 1. Printing environment: Humidity must not be too high.
  • 2. Aluminum packaging film needs to be printed right after opening. Then, it must be laminated right after printing, keeping the package sealed.
  • 3. Printing preheating: 50–80 °C
  • 4. Printing pressure should be moderate, and printing tension should be appropriately reduced.
