Product Details of MDO PE Film​

We manufacture and supply MDO PE film. This serves as an alternative to conventional plastics such as PET, OPP, and OPA. It effectively addresses recycling challenges and represents a form of monomaterial packaging. Typically made from polyethylene, its production differs from standard PE film making. After blown molding, the film undergoes unidirectional stretching. This operation significantly enhances the film’s properties, delivering superior strength and puncture resistance. Barrier performance is improved, offering enhanced moisture resistance and oxidation protection. Its oxygen transmission rate (OTR) can reach as low as 0.1 cm³/(m²·d).

MDO PE with added EVOH enhances oxygen barrier properties, reducing barrier layer thickness and costs. It can also undergo metallization treatment. This enhances glossiness and aesthetic appeal in confectionery packaging. MDO PE prints great. It works well with all printing methods, like flexography, letterpress, and digital printing.
